Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday. I might even go so far as to say it is my favorite, but because my sons aren’t ever here with me for Thanksgiving, it defaults to my second favorite.
I thought I’d list a few of the things I’m most thankful for:
*********************
a loving and forgiving Savior
being married to my best friend
my 2 sons
my husband’s 2 daughters
a silky cat named Elvis
a home where we feel comfortable
family time together
creative talents
a nation where we are free

It is now officially the Christmas season and I still wonder how it got here so fast. Right now I’m busy making gifts and hoping to get everything finished that’s on my to-do list. I’ve had to put my latest crochet project on the back burner.
My loverly hexie blanket (ala Lucy at Attic24) will be there to pick back up when I’m done with everything else. Even unfinished, I’ve enjoyed using it since it finally got cold here.
Jason’s mom came down from Montana for Thanksgiving. The girls got a few great days with her and got to help make mom’s fabulous cherry pies.
One thing that I’ve been super bad about lately is taking photos. I plan to do Project 365 again in 2011 since it’s been great looking back through all the pictures from 2009. This time I might just use this blog to keep all my photos and journaling. That would improve another thing I’ve been super bad about…regular blogging.
That’s it from me tonight… I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving and that you’ve had much to be thankful for.
